Interstate-10 closed at intervals today

Interstate-10 will be closed in both directions Friday starting at noon.
The closure will allow Entergy crews to repair a main transmission line, according to Louisiana State Police.
The interstate will be closed in one-hour intervals through the afternoon. Traffic is being diverted at Siegen Lane and Highland Road onto U.S. 61 (Airline Highway).
