Athletics Department plans for HannahThe Athletics Department is looking at contingency plans in the case of inclement weather this weekend. The football team is scheduled to play its first home game of the season Saturday night at 6 p.m. against William & Mary, and the women’s soccer team is scheduled to play two home games on Friday and Sunday, but Tropical Storm Hanna, which is projected to come through Raleigh, may alter the game times or even dates of the sporting events originally slated for this weekend.
Vera honored after hat trickSenior Lindsay Vera was named a part of TopDrawerSoccer.com’s national team of the week after notching her third career hat trick in a 5-1 victory over Elon last Friday night. Vera is currently tied for fourth in the ACC with three goals this season.

Flag football combines scheduled for tonightCampus recreation will be holding flag football combines tonight beginning at 7 p.m. on the lower miller fields. The competition is designed to test skill required in flag football. Winners of each event and an overall winner will be crowned. The contest was originally slated for last week, but was rained out.
