The University celebrated its 266th commencement exercise Friday morning, as 791 students received degrees in the PMAC.
LSU System President John Lombardi delivered the commencement address.
Eleven students graduated with honors. The oldest graduate was 73, and the youngest was 20. The graduating class represented 46 parishes, 30 states and 38 countries.
Noteworthy graduates included husband and wife Rodney and Stella Rouse, who both received doctoral degrees, and State Sen. Yvonne Dorsey, who received a bachelor’s degree in political science.
