Former LSU forward Anthony Randolph was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the No. 14 pick in Thursday’s NBA draft.
Randolph is the fourth former LSU forward selected in the past four years. Brandon Bass, Tyrus Thomas and Glen Davis were picked in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 NBA drafts, respectively.
Randolph has been consistently projected to go in the first round since announcing his departure from LSU in April.
The Dallas native averaged 15.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this past season. He was the only Tiger to start all of the team’s 31 games.
Randolph is LSU’s 13th first-round pick since 1952.
