Recall petition filed against Gov. Jindal — 6/27

A recall petition has been filed against Gov. Bobby Jindal, the Secretary of State’s Office announced on Friday.
Jindal has been under criticism as of late for his refusal to veto a bill that would raise state legislators’ base pay.
More than 900,000 verifiable signatures from registered Louisiana voters would be needed to force a recall election against Jindal, The Associated Press reported.
