LSU coach Les Miles has contacted former Syracuse coach Greg Robinson about becoming LSU’s defensive coordinator, The Times-Picayune reported Friday.
Robinson reportedly did not deny Miles contacted him, but he also told The Syracuse Post-Standard the information might be “reaching a little bit.”
“I don’t see myself having the ability to do something right now,” Robinson said. “First of all, I want to continue to work on our coaches to help them [find new jobs]. Secondly, I have to weight all my options. That’s going to take some time.”
Robinson was fired by Syracuse earlier this season.
