The AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display in the Cotillion Ballroom in the LSU Union today to coincide with World AIDS Day. Each panel on the Quilt represents someone who has died because of AIDS.Rayne Faucheux, biological sciences junior, organized the project, and she said the quilt is the largest ongoing community arts project in the world. Since the Quilt has now grown to a huge size, it is displayed in blocks. This year is the first time the University has hosted the Quilt. The display is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow. ——Contact Ellen Zielinski at [email protected]
