The Honors College will host a presentation by Saundra McGuire, the director of the University’s Center for Academic Success tonight at 7.
The presentation “Desegregating Baton Rouge Schools: A Personal Perspective” will feature McGuire’s personal experiences as a student during the 1960s integration of Baton Rouge schools and her views on today’s school system.
The lecture is the seventh in a series organized by the University’s Summer Reading Program, a series designed to explore the issues from this summer’s assigned book “Life on the Color Line” by Gregory Williams.
