While five former LSU football players witnessed their NFL dreams come true in the Draft this past weekend, seven other players penned deals as free agents Monday. Running back Justin Vincent signed with the Atlanta Falcons where he will continue his career as a professional after rushing for 1,811 yards and 17 touchdowns during his career as a Tiger. Defensive back Daniel Francis agreed to play for the Washington Redskins. Francis played in 48 games with 76 total tackles during his time at LSU. Two-sport athlete kicker Chris Jackson signed with the Buffalo Bills. Jackson finished ranked No. 5 and No. 10 in school history, respectively with a career punting an average of 41 yards and a career field goal percentage of .569. Offensive lineman Peter Dyakowski, the first Canadian-born athlete to receive a scholarship from LSU, will remain in the state after signing with the New Orleans Saints. Offensive lineman Brian Johnson signed with the Arizona Cardinals after staring the better part of three seasons at LSU. Defensive back Jessie Daniels inked a deal with the Carolina Panthers after recording 183 tackles as a Tiger. After a career as a role player on the defensive line, end back Ryan Willis signed with the St. Louis Rams to round out the 12 seniors who signed with NFL teams.
