Injury updateSenior captain and last season’s second-leading scorer El Hadj Cisse took a hard fall in Sunday’s match against Delaware and left the stadium, hobbling with a wrapped foot. Coach George Tarantini said Cisse should be good for Friday’s match against St. Louis in the Duke Adidas Classic.
“El Hadj is going through a lot of pain and some things here and there,” Tarantini said. “Physically, he’s taking a beating right now, but I expect him to get better by Friday.”
What’s next? The men will travel to Durham for another weekend doubleheader in the Duke Adidas Classic. The Pack squares off with St. Louis at 5 p.m. Friday and will face Villanova Sunday at 5 p.m.
