No. 9 LSU finished at 1-under par 287 after day one of the LSU Golf Classic at the University Club. The score put the Lady Tigers tied for third with No. 13 North Carolina. LSU finished the first day behind No. 3 Virginia and No. 12 Wake Forest, which led the day’s competition with a 4-under 284. Freshman Jacqueline Hedwall led the Lady Tigers at 4-under par 68. She is currently tied for second on the leaderboard as she didn’t shoot a single bogey on the day.
