SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — The state’s two top elected officials are visiting the Shreveport-Bossier area.
Gov. Bobby Jindal visits Barksdale Air Force Base on Tuesday to present new state veterans medals to hundreds of the state’s servicemen and servicewomen and to families of those killed in battle.
Later, Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu will speak to local civic and business leaders at Chamber Plaza in downtown Shreveport about various issues relating to northwest Louisiana. The program will include an opportunity for participants to voice concerns or issues facing northwest Louisiana.
