Princeton professor of jurisprudence, Robert P. George, has been invited by the University to deliver the 2009 Edward Douglass White Lectures on Citizenship.As part of his “Morality and Policy: Contemporary Challenges” lecture series, George will speak on “Science, Philosophy and Religion in the Embryo Debate” on April 2 at 7 p.m. in the McKernan Law Center.On Friday, April 3 at 10:30 a.m. he will address the Dodson Auditorium with his lecture “The Concept of Public Morality.”George has taught at Princeton since 1985 and has authored such works as “In Defense of Natural Law,” “Making Men Moral: Civil Liberties and Public Morality,” and “The Clash of Orthodoxies.”——Contact Adam Duvernay at [email protected]
