Dogs and cats will soon be able to enjoy a walk through the swamp as much as their owners.BREC’s Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center has decided to drop its no pet policy for four days out of the year.On Saturday, March 21 any pet can play in the park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.The Baton Rouge Swamp Nature Center is a 101-acre facility which includes a nature center, a 65-acre cypress-tupelo swamp and a magnolia-beech upland hardwood forest linked by a 1.3 miles of walking trails.——Contact Adam Duvernay at [email protected]
