The College of Arts and Sciences will lose both the math department and their dean, Guillermo Ferreyra, according to a broadcast e-mail to the Arts and Sciences faculty.The transfer of the math department will occur at the end of the academic year while Ferreyra will leave his position sometime in the summer.According to the e-mail, Ferreyra intends to resume his prior position professor of mathematics.——Contact Lindsey Meaux at [email protected]
