High school wide receiver Solomon Patton has received a scholarship offer from LSU, according to Ken Trahan, president and general manager of Neworleans.com Sports.Patton also has offers from Alabama, Florida and Ole Miss among other schools, according to Rivals.com.
The 5-foot-9-inch, 170-pound prospect caught 43 passes for 830 yards and 12 touchdowns his junior season at Murphy High School in Mobile, Ala. Patton was an All-State player as a sophomore and junior. Trahan said the recruit plans to attend LSU’s spring game April 18.
