Brian D. Voss, University vice chancellor for information and technology and chief information officer, will deliver the keynote address at the 2009 Management Symposium of the Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on University and College Computing Services.
The ACM-SIGUCCS will be held today in Nashville, Tenn. and will kick off the annual confrence’s focus on leadership development with his presentation “A Nurturer’s Code to Live by for Developing IT Leaders.”
Inspired by Crosby, Stills and Nash’s hit “Teach Your Children,” Voss’ speech will address leadership development from his own unique perspective. Voss’ speech says there is no single formula for nurturing future IT leaders.
The symposium is held to bring together higher education IT leaders to share views, challengers and experiences in an intimate environment.—-Contact Adam Duvernay at [email protected]
