Friday’s first round of the 37th annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga., was canceled because of rain.
The start was originally just pushed back, but for the first time in the history of the event an entire round was rained out.
Action is set to start Saturday morning if weather permits, making the tournament at most a 36-hole event for the 18 teams participating.
