Notre Dame High School linebacker D.J. Welter has verbally committed to LSU, according to Rivals.com.Welter recorded 128 tackles in his junior season at Notre Dame. The 6-foot, 214-pound linebacker is the fifth commitment of the 2010 recruiting class. LSU also has commitments from wide receiver Mike Davis, tight end Nick Jacobs, athlete Tharold Simon and running back Brandon Worle.
