NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Hornets say they won’t need any performance based financial inducements from the state of Louisiana after this season.
A clause in the Hornets’ lease with the New Orleans Arena calls for subsidies in case they struggle to meet certain attendance benchmarks.
This year, home attendance has been very strong. The Hornets have sold out more regular season games so far this year than all of last year.
