The No. 20 LSU softball team’s last two games in its three-game series against No. 8 Georgia were canceled Sunday because of rain. The Tigers had the bases loaded with one out and junior outfielder Rachel Mitchell at the plate when Saturday’s second game was canceled. The game was rescheduled for Sunday, but weather conditions forced the two teams to cancel both of Sunday’s games. The Tigers (15-6, 2-2) will be back to action for a doubleheader against No. 2 Alabama on Wednesday in Tiger Park. The first game is scheduled for 5 p.m. —- Contact Jarred LeBlanc at [email protected]
