LSU sophomore guard Latear Eason underwent surgery on her left collarbone Thursday after being injured in LSU’s 62-52 loss to Louisville on Tuesday.
LSU coach Van Chancellor said Eason’s doctor Brent Bankston informed him the surgery was a success.
“The surgery went well, and we expect a full recovery for Latear,” Chancellor said. “We expect great things from her next season.”
Eason averaged 3.0 points and two assists per game for the Lady Tigers this season.
