The National Business Incubation Association cited the Louisiana Business and Technology Center as one of the “best investments of public dollars.”
The NBIA explained in the news release that the University’s incubator program was a good investment because it’s potential for job creation.
The LBTC has created more than 9,500 jobs since its beginning, according to a news release.
“Business incubators have been effective in training entrepreneurs to be employers who will hire many employees,” said Charles D’Agostino, executive director of the LBTC.
