Baton Rouge has ranked among the 30 best places in the United States for jobs, along with three other Louisiana cities, according to Forbes Magazine.
Houma-Thibodaux was ranked fourth, Lafayette was 14th, Alexandria was 21st and Baton Rouge was 27th on the list.
The report, which was based on Bureau of Labor Statistics employment data, noted the education-related jobs in Baton Rouge increased 21 percent in the last five years.
