LSU will host a tailgate party for former letterwinners in all sports before the Tigers’ spring football game April 18, the LSU Athletic Department announced Wednesday.
The party will take place 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the concourse of the PMAC. The spring football game starts at 5 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
“It is important for LSU to connect with its past and maintain a strong relationship with its former athletes in all sports,” said LSU athletic director Joe Alleva in a news release. “This is the first in a series of initiatives to establish regular communications with our athletic alumni and involve them more deeply in the LSU Athletics program.”
All former managers, trainers and cheerleaders who have earned letters are also encouraged to attend the event.
