NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $1.73 million to the state to support clean diesel engine projects.
The funds are coming from federal economic stimulus money.
The money will be used by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality to fund projects that reduce emissions from diesel equipment.
