Environmental conditions should be a definitive factor in the selection of landscape plants, according to an AgCenter news release.
Plants intended for Louisiana landscape should be able to tolerate existing environmental conditions — between 50 and 60 inches of annual rain, extended time periods of dry weather and minimum temperatures of about 20 degrees.
The release specified Louisiana’s summer growing conditions as an important factor in selecting plants. —-Contact Lindsey Meaux at [email protected]
