Lakewood High School quarterback Jesse Scroggins has been offered a scholarship by LSU, according to Rivals.com.
The 6-foot-2-inch quarterback threw for 2,462 yards and 23 touchdowns his junior season.
The California native has offers from seven other colleges, including Nebraska, Tennessee and Arizona.
The Tigers have already received commitments from eight prospects for the 2010 class.
