It wasn’t the Tigers’ best performance, as the Tigers posted a 196.300 to join two other Southeastern Conference schools — Georgia and Florida — in the first session of the national prelims. The 196.300 was well below the team’s regional qualifying score of 196.760.The Tigers had to count a fall on the balance beam because both junior Summer Hubbard and senior Ashleigh Clare-Kearney fell on the apparatus. The fall for Clare-Kearney marked the fifth-straight meet she has fallen on the event.—–Contact Andy Schwehm at [email protected]
