The LSU baseball team dropped to No. 6 and No. 9 in the Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball polls, the LSU Athletic Department announced Monday.
LSU was No. 1 in both polls last week.
The Tigers dropped two of three games against Tennessee in their weekend series, and they lost to Nicholls State, 3-1, on Wednesday.
The series loss marked the first time LSU dropped a Southeastern Conference series since April 18-20, 2008 against Georgia.
LSU (28-12, 11-7) faces Southeastern Louisiana at Alex Box Stadium Tuesday night.
