Chancellor Michael Martin will be the keynote speaker at the LSU Black Faculty and Staff Caucus’ annual Black Scholars Awards Programs on Sunday, April 26, at 2 p.m. in the Carl Maddox Field House, according to a University news release.
The program, in its 24th year, will recognize about 500 black students who have achieved a 3.00 grade-point average and other higher education accomplishments.
The event is free and open to the public.
