The LSU AgCenter is partnering with the Louisiana Deprtment of Corrections and nonprofit organizations in Ascension and East Baton Rouge parishes to help inmates make a smooth transition back into society.
The partnership is designed to help Louisiana prisoners learn the skills they need to return to the workforce. The office serves 2,500 offenders which provides small steps to steer inmates in the direction of better jobs.—-Contact Adam Duvernay at [email protected]
