Sixteen faculty members at the University currently hold CAREER grants from the National Science Foundation, the foundation’s most prestigious award for junior faculty, according to a University news release.
“CAREER recipients are highly sought-after faculty members who receive grants in recognition of their ability to pursue complex, innovative research and also maintain an exceptional teaching career while doing so,” said Provost Astrid Merget according to the release.
