BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — House Speaker Jim Tucker is defending Gov. Bobby Jindal against criticism that he spends too much time out of state.
Jindal’s critics have said the governor is too often on the road around the country, giving speeches and holding fundraisers.
But Tucker said Monday that Jindal is promoting Louisiana as the state tries to improve its image in the rest of the country. He said Jindal is ideal for that job.—-Contact The Daily Reveille news staff at [email protected]
