LSU rising sophomore forward LaSondra Barrett was named one of 14 finalists for the 2009 USA Basketball Women’s U19 World Championship Team on Sunday, according to an LSU Athletic Department news release.”Words can’t explain,” Barrett said in the release. “This is a great honor. I never dreamed that I would make it this far … Knowing you’re representing your country and you’re on a team of great girls and great players.
