NEW ORLEANS (AP) — State health officials say the number of confirmed swine flu cases in Louisiana remains at seven — and not 14, as shown in a chart on the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Web site.
Department of Health and Hospitals spokeswoman Lauren Mendes says officials have confirmed with the CDC that it was a reporting error. She says they’re still trying to figure out how it happened.
