Kirsten Shortridge became the 12th player in LSU softball history to be selected a Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American when the National Fastpitch Coaches Association named her a Third-Team All-American on Wednesday.The Keller, Texas, native was second in the Southeastern Conference in batting average at a .426 clip and 5-4 in the circle, including victories against No. 2 Alabama and No. 9 Arizona State.—-Contact The Daily Reveille sports staff at [email protected]
