NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees signed the first of 900 posters unveiled Friday that will commemorate Saturday night’s Domino Effect concert with headliners B.B. King, Little Richard and Chuck Berry at the New Orleans Arena.
The event is being called “The Domino Effect” because musical guests will be performing songs previously recorded by New Orleans native Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performer Fats Domino. Domino has been invited to attend the concert but will not be performing.
Brees is signing all 900 posters, along with artist Michael Hunt, which will be sold for $90 each. A portion of the proceeds from poster and concert ticket sales will benefit Brees’ charity, the Brees Dream Foundation, for improvements in the city’s parks and schools.—-Contact The Daily Reveille sports staff at [email protected]
