Sophomore point guard Bo Spencer will miss Saturday’s game against Ole Miss with a high ankle sprain, according to LSU coach Trent Johnson.”He’s still on crutches for protective reasons, but it looks like it’s just a bad sprain,” Johnson said. “He’s not playing Saturday. I won’t put him in that situation — there’s no way. There’s no way.”Spencer injured the ankle in Wednesday night’s 97-94 double overtime win against Mississippi State.Johnson said senior guard Garrett Temple will move to point guard in Spencer’s absence. Senior guard Terry Martin will start in Temple’s usual position.
