LSU freshman forward LaSondra Barrett was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Barrett has won the honor for the second time this season. She won her first honor Jan. 27.
The Jackson, Miss., native scored 19 points and had 17 rebounds in the Lady Tigers’ 63-56 win at South Carolina on Thursday.
Barrett also had five points and seven rebounds in LSU’s 66-55 loss to Auburn on Sunday.
