The LSU softball team’s Friday game against Georgia Tech in the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Ga., has been canceled because of rain. The No. 20 Tigers will not make-up the game in the tournament. LSU (11-4) will bring its five-game winning streak into South Commons Stadium for the Saturday matchups against Florida State (12-4) at 12:30 p.m. and Illinois State (6-6) at 5:30 p.m. The Tigers are scheduled to play No. 13 DePaul on Sunday. —- Contact Jarred LeBlanc at [email protected]
