Destrehan’s Darrington Sentimore is keeping his commitment with Alabama, according to Ken Trahan, president and general manager of Neworleans.com Sports.The four-star defensive tackle originally committed to Alabama but then considered LSU. Trahan said Sentimore changed his mind after talking to his coaches and parents.
Three-star linebacker Tahj Jones has committed to LSU, according to Rivals.com.The 6-foot-2-inch linebacker had 80 tackles with seven sacks his senior season.The Sulphur native is the third linebacker to verbally commit to the 2009 class, along with Kevin Minter and Lamin Barrow.Rivals five-star defensive back Janzen Jackson is “likely” to sign with LSU, Trahan said.After visiting Alabama this past weekend, Jackson still plans to honor his verbal commitment to LSU.
