The LSU softball team’s weekend has been rained out. No. 20 LSU was scheduled to play Georgia Tech on Friday, Florida State and Illinois State on Saturday, and No. 13 DePaul on Sunday in the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Ga. All of those games have been canceled because of rain. The tournament’s Saturday games were originally postponed, then canceled. All teams that traveled by bus to the tournament have left for home, according to LSUsports.net. The Tigers also had their game against Southeastern Louisiana on Feb. 18 postponed because of rain.
