The LSU AgCenter’s 2011 Get It Growing Lawn and Garden Calendar will offer Louisiana photographers a chance to publish their work.The Get It Growing Calendar provides useful monthly gardening tips from Dan Gill, AgCenter horticulturist, as well as how-to sections, special gardening features and garden photos from across the state.”The 2011 calendar will showcase Louisiana gardening and serve as an educational resource for novice and seasoned gardeners,” Elma Sue McCallum, calendar coordinator and Agcenter communications assistant director, said in a AgCenter news release.The AgCenter has published the calendar annually since 2005.LSU AgCenter faculty members will select 40 photographs for the calendar. The deadline for submissions is January 29, 2010.
