The Homecoming Committee has announced the 13 representatives of the 2009 Homecoming Court, according to a University news release, and voting through PAWS concludes today at 3 p.m.
The 100 years of LSU Homecoming celebration comes with a change to the court structure — instead of 10 senior members, this year’s court includes a freshman, a sophomore couple, two junior couples and three senior couples.
Only the seniors are eligible for king and queen. King candidates include Ben Clark, Luke “Joe” Coussan Jr., and Jim Rabalais. Candidates for queen are Krista Allen, Chantelle George and Melissa Landry.
The king and queen are chosen by student popular vote, and the winners will be announced at halftime of the Tigers’ football game against Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
