A female security staff member was stabbed around 11:30 a.m. Saturdayat the LSU Law Center.
The only confirmed information at this point is that the woman wasstabbed by a male subject, said Sergeant Blake Tabor, publicinformation officer for the LSU Police Department. The subject is notin custody at this time.
Tabor said LSUPD believes the woman was stabbed because of her”excited demeanor,” and the victim will be interviewed again latertoday to collect more information about the incident.
