Joseph Mason, the Hermann Moyse Jr./Louisiana Bankers Association Endowed Chair of Banking in LSU’s Department of Finance, was recently quoted by Delta Farm Press about his recent paper, “The Economic Policy Risks of Cap and Trade Markets for Carbon Emissions,” according to a University news release.
In the article, Mason suggests a carbon tax be considered alongside a cap and trade — a policy he said could saddle the U.S. economy.
The article ran Oct. 27 and can be viewed at http://deltafarmpress.com/legislative/cap-trade-risks-1027/.
