BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Paying a traffic ticket issued by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is now just a few clicks away.
Sheriff’s officials have set up an online ticket-payment system through the department’s Web site, http://www.ebrso.org.
Spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said Monday the new system is similar to the online payment system Baton Rouge City Court has used for six years.
Hicks said the idea is to make it more convenient for drivers to pay their tickets and to cut down on the amount of outstanding traffic warrants.
