The Student Health Center received its shipment of 3,000 H1N1 vaccines late last week, according to Julie Hupperich, associate director of the Health Center.
The injectable vaccinations will be distributed to students and staff falling into the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s priority groups starting the week of Nov. 30, according to Hupperich.
Those priority groups include people from 6 months old to 24 years old. Also included are health care providers, children caretakers and people with chronic illnesses.
The University will issue a broadcast e-mail concerning the distribution policy tomorrow, Hupperich said. She said University Relations will provide constant communication to students throughout the process.
