The Klu Klux Klan confirmed it will march on Ole Miss’s campus Saturday.
Shane Tate, Grand Titan for the Mississippi White Knights of the Klu Klux Klan confirmed via e-mail the KKK will be marching from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Oxford on Saturday.
Multiple news organizations reported last week the KKK was considering the march in response to Ole Miss Chancellor Dan Jones’ order for the Ole Miss band to discontinue playing “From Dixie with Love.” Jones issued his order after students refused to stop chanting the “the South will rise again” during the song.
